Dewey is a special cat that is FIV positive. This condition is not life-threatening and many cats live full and long lives. Dewey came to us injured and abandoned by his previous owner. However, in spite of everything Dewey is a loving and talkative cat. If you would like to adopt Dewey, this 3 to 4 year old orange tabby male cat with a heart of gold will make you a devoted companion.

Glenna is our other cat of the month and her story is one of survival. Glenna was a Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) cat that was left on her own after the colony caretaker moved and did not take Glenna with them. A neighbor found her and brought her to the Nebraska Humane Society (NHS) since her ear was tipped. Feline Friendz was contacted and we placed her in a foster home to receive medical treatment. Glenna is a small female grey longhaired cat that is 2 to 3 years old. She loves to be scratched and will butt her head against you for attention. With time she has the potential to be a lap cat, providing you give her lots of love and attention. Click here for an adoption application! |
